Gingival Descriptions and Continued Instrumentation

Today we actually had to read and record the probe measurements and that was a little bit of a different story! Those little lines are hard to read, where are my loupes?? My insertion, adaptation, and angulation were still pretty good. On the anterior teeth I need to angle the probe in the sulcus a little bit more to follow the curvature of the root. Today we were introduced to gingival descriptions. There is always a generalized condition and possibly some localized or discrete conditions. We can only use the six conditions we were given for the description but you can use many other adjectives for descriptions in the treatment record. Now I have to remember the different criteria for each condition.
