Summer Fun

So right after I took my clinical board exams for dental hygiene I drove straight down to Zion National Park to take a break from all the work and worry! I finally got to go hike Angel's Landing and I loved it. The views up there are just so beautiful. I really like Zion a lot...I think it's my absolute favorite place to go hiking (so far anyways)!


The next week I took off to Colorado to visit my family there. I had a ton of fun hanging out with my lil sis Chassie and the rest of the family. I had never met my little nephew Noah and I was so excited to see him! I am sure every aunt/uncle thinks this...but I seriously have the cutest nephew.


It didn't take long for him to warm up to his Aunt Chanci...he loved to let me hold and cuddle him and take him for walks to the park...and I loved it more than he did! He just turned one and he has the cutest personality. Every time he hears some good music he starts dancing, and he is just learning how to walk, and can talk to me on the phone! My youngest sister is also going to have a little girl in August too. So, needless to say I will be going back to Colorado more frequently and am really excited to spend time with my family there.


Then the next week I went to AZ to visit my family and friends there! Yeah, I really wanted to get away and take a break :) I usually go down over the fourth of July because I have time off of work but I am so glad I went in May this time because it was absolutely perfect weather! It wasn't hot at all and I love NOT being HOT! I had so much fun hanging out with my friends from High School (we had a little mini five year reunion at my dads house) and getting caught up with them and all their spouses and kids. And of course I spent a lot of time with my family that I love and miss so much (they all kept asking me when I moving back down to AZ...but I think UT is my home now :). The best part was definitely just hanging out with my dad and soakin' up the rays by his pool.
So all in all I had a great couple weeks of pure fun and then it was back to the real world again!
