HAVASUPAI!!!

This last weekend I went down to Havasupai with some of my family. It was AWESOME! I drove down wednesday after work which took about eight hours. On thursday morning I got up early and backpacked the 10 miles in to the camp ground to meet my family that had gone down the day before. I backpacked the whole ten miles in about two and a half hours! Yeah, I rock. Haha.
Once I got there I met up with my dad and we went to check out the amazing falls. There was a huge flood there last August that has completely changed the landscape of the area. My dad was telling me about all of the differences and I was so amazed. There aren't as many fun areas to play in I guess (waterfalls, rope swings, etc.) but I didn't know any different so I still had a great time.
Here are some pics of the beautiful falls. Havasupai is such an amazing and unique place and I am so glad I was finally able to experience it, especially with my dad and brother.
 This is Havasu falls.

This is some of the destruction from the flood last fall. The river didn't even used to run right here, it was in a completely different area. CRAZY!
