Well today I saw my first patient that was not family or friend and it went very well. Her health history was straightforward as was most of her other assessments. I took four bitewings and I found some interproximal "suspicious lesions" all by myself, which was exciting!! I got through the OD check and finished two quads of scaling. I hadn't scaled in so long and I was so nervous that I was going to miss a spot that I kept checking for calculus over and over until the very last minute possible. I had a perfect scale check which I was happy about and I decided that next time I wouldn't be so worried about missing something and be more confident!!
