Well today we got oriented with the clinic once again. I am glad that I worked as a hygiene assistant all summer so it wasn't completely foreign to me starting out again. We also re-learned instrument sharpening and it is as scary as ever....I don't want to ruin my instruments! We did get to use the gleason guide and the sidekick today and I really liked both of them, they take a lot of the guess work out of sharpening. I think I will invest in a gleason guide for now and hopefully a mechanical one in the future! I am excited to be back in clinic and get working on some calculus again....I hope this year goes by smoothly....keep reading and you are sure to find out.
