IntraOral

There are a lot more structures and conditions to observe when performing an intraoral. I am having a hard time remembering the different types of papilla on the tongue. The circumvallate is easy, they are the large ones near the back of the tongue. The foliate are also easy, they are the ones on the lateral border of the tongue. I mix up the filiform and fungiform ones. The filiform are grasslike and the fungiform are small, round, and red! Can you find all of your different papilla?
We started exploring today as well. I learned a new fulcrum that works well with the maxillary right buccal and left lingual surfaces. I need to work on establishing my fulcrum firmly and then inserting my instrument.

Chanci, you are doing awesome! After working with me, you should feel better about your small concerns! Thanks for being so patient with me and for being so helpful. It's easy to get frustrated when I feel so behind everyone else, but I appreciate your help! You are very knowledgable and seem to be doing great.
