Organization is Key

Well I saw my first patient of this semester. It has been awhile since I had been in the clinic and I felt like I couldn't remember everything I was supposed to and I felt disorganized. Other than how I felt, I actually did pretty well. I took my first full mouth series of radiographs (which consists of 18 x-rays) and I didn't have any retakes!! I chose this patient to be an exam, so I spent the rest of the appointment gathering information and making assessments. Despite my worries I was very thorough in all of my assessments and paperwork and I passed the first part of my exam.
My goal for next time is to be more organized, like with my paperwork and having the right material in the right place and things like that. I am sure that I will feel much better!
